Engineer Khaled Al-Qaisi holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan. He is a partner and board of Al Majjara (Galaxy) for Oil Shale and Natural Resources and he is a partner, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of Al-Qaisi Construction and Contracting Group, a first-class company specializing in building construction and road construction including maintenance, asphalt mixing, and mining. The Al-Qaisi Construction and Contracting Group collaborates with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the German Development Bank (KfW) on several key projects in Jordan. The company will also undertake construction, mining and infrastructure work for oil shale projects. Engineer Khaled Al-Qaisi has supervised numerous housing, hotel, hospital, and school construction projects, ensuring high technical specifications, quality, and rapid execution.
Engineer Khaled Al-Qaisi manages and organizes construction work, equipment, and materials necessary to complete project phases according to the predetermined schedule and budget, ensuring safe execution without any risks or damage. He also ensures that all safety precautions are taken to guarantee the safety of employees and protect them from hazards. Engineer Khaled Al-Qaisi is a partner and board member of the Great Zeolite Import and Export Company and Great Mining and Agricultural Soil Production Company, a company specializing in zeolite, mining and earthworks in southern Jordan. Engineer Khaled oversees the mining of phosphate, carbonates, silica, iron ore, pozzolana, zeolite, and kaolin. The company currently has long-term contracts with the Jordanian Cement Company (Lafarge) in the pozzolana sector. The company has also executed numerous projects in Saudi Arabia, including NEOM, King Salman Gardens, and golf courses. Furthermore, it provides mining services to the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company and developing technological innovations in mineral extraction. The company will undertake all oil shale mining operations for the Al-Lajjun retorting project.
Great Zeolite Import and Export Company owns a fleet of specialized excavation and mining equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, and dump trucks, to ensure the highest quality in oil shale mining operations.
